The mission of the Scott-Herndon Educational Foundation is to provide underserved communities with the financial, academic and governmental support needed to achieve their educational goals.

We are a 501 3(c) non-profit organization based in Cary, North Carolina dedicated to empowering and educating individuals from underserved populations.

The Scott-Herndon Education Foundation is legacy in action.  The foundation's namesakes, Garland Herndon and Bertha Scott Herndon, believed deeply in the power of education and service.  They instilled those same values in their descendants, who remain committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.
